The hotel is under complete renovation. There is no bar, no restaurant, only one lift!!! The be lobby has the appearance of a 2 star hotel. However, you are paying the full rate for a 4 star - when it’s done.

Despite the property itself going under some big renovation’s this hotel is as good as you will get for a family in Midtown, New York.
I have never experienced staff as good as this in any place I have stayed in the World and the location was perfect for a family tourist holiday.
Negatives:
The hotel amenities, look and style was in a semi state of flux due to the renovations but this didn’t effect our stay at all.

We had a suite as there were 3 of us and we were upgraded to one of the newly refurbished rooms on the top floor which was lovely.

They are refurbishing part of the hotel which has to be done but I think they should have told us.
