Easy of check-in, very pleasant staff, lovely lobby, good sized and attractive room, great bed, very clean, central location and near subway. Clean, spacious bathroom. Well maintained older building with historic ambiance.
Negatives:
Elevators unreliable, no coffee/ tea available either in lobby or rooms. I had requested an upper floor room, but was actually happy with our 4th floor room assignment as we landed up using the stairs (as did many other guests) on most occasions because the elevators were so slowfor this reason, the Gregorian would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Overprice for the kind of facility, room and amenity they have. Room had missing lightbulb and broken furnitures. We have a baby and stroller and luggages, and the staffs just watched us struggling with the trying to get into the hotel lobby and did not offer help. Front desk ladies were looking at monitor giggling and chatting instead of focus on the customers in front of them. For the price they charge vs the service and amenity they have this is 3 stars hotel at top. Toilet didn't flush and shower water was cold ....

The location was good and the Lobby was nicely decorated. The door staff were friendly.
Negatives:
Very expensive for what it was. The room was not as advertised and despite booking early and asking for a bright room, we were given a dark room at the back of the building which was poorly painted and had very dirty windows facing a wall. It didnt even have both curtains and when we asked for them to remedy this we were ignored. There was a bar as part of the lobby but it appeared to be permanently closed and was just a dark corner full of spare furniture. We asked to change rooms but were told it was fully booked even though there was still availability online.
