If you were to place a pin in the centre of the map of Manhattan, it would land here. Clean, quiet, and with a certain charm, in the very centre of Manhattan, down the block from Macy’s and around the corner from the Empire State Building.
Negatives:
Rooms in Midtown NY hotels tend to be small, unless you go very up-market, and this is no exception. It’s the norm, however.

The location is excellent and easy to get to, and the bed was super comfortable. The decor is cool too, but our room was a bit small for two of us. Loved the bathroom, and they give you until noon to checkout!

There are very few rooms with two beds so even though we requested two beds when we booked we didn’t get them and another room was not made available. There is also no coffee in the rooms or in the lobby, although the website advertises that coffee is available in the mornings.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, especially towards our 5-year-old son! We had a view of the Empire State Building from our window, which was so exciting that we didn't notice it right away because of its height, but then suddenly, wow! The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to access all the attractions in Manhattan. The daily cleaning service was a great bonus, with fresh towels—we were very satisfied! Despite being in the center of Manhattan, we could sleep easily at night; the sounds were not too disturbing or loud. Regarding the elevator, despite some negative reviews, please disregard them as it was old, but completely normal and not too slow.

Beds were very comfortable. Close to everything you’d want to do in New York.

Needs a hotel bar area. Fire alarm in the middle of the night!, did not sound like a typical alarm and was not extremely loud ,barely woke us up, so we did not leave our room , no flashing light on alarm either for the hearing impaired. Thank goodness it was a false alarm.
