Positives:
Location, room large and comfortable
Good price for what you get. They check all the boxes for us. Not too noisy - I mean this is central Manhattan after all.
Negatives:
Elevator wait time, very small bathroom - although adequate

Positives:
Very nice central location for this hotel, perfect for first-timers looking to explore the city as much as possible.
The King Room was large, modern and clean. We had a very nice view on the Empire State Building.
The staff was extremely welcoming and efficient.
Negatives:
The bathroom was a little small.

Perfect spot for NYC first-timers....
Positives:
The rooms had good natural light.
Negatives:
Bathroom was very small and smelled like marijuana. It wasn’t super clean either. The outside noise was very loud. Overall an old place.
Review
Definitely not worth the price.
Positives:
Good location in aspect of where in manhattan. The street seemed though to attract a lot of drunk and cannabis smoking people unfortunately.
Good cleaning. Nice style of furnishing.
Negatives:
There’s nothing to buy, breakfast snacks or even a beer.
It is NY but there were very load city noise from the street. We had windows towards same side as the entrance high up but windows seemed to be thin as paper.
Some reconstruction in the building or the next one spread a terrible resonance sound in our room 7 am in the morning, even if you blocked your ears the sound came thru. We fled out and had a early breakfast on the go.
As written before, the elevators, they have 2 in total, struggle a lot. Some evenings closed due to reconstruction and then the next morning it is up and running again and the other one seems just to not function. We took the stairs 8 floors.
No bar that was open, no snackbar.
The stay was okey but If possible request a room in the back of the building because of the disturbing sound at late nights. (Street cleaning, garbage truck, hasch pots fumbling around, drunk people.)

Short stay but well worth...
Positives:
Beautiful decor and rooms… fantastic location! The doorman was very kind and even gifted a toy subway train to our little boy!
Negatives:
The lift was very slow and only one was working… we also had no hot water for a day and a half.

Beautiful hotel full of character...
Positives:
The room was a good size, the location was excellent, and we had a view of the Empire State Building.
Negatives:
The elevator situation was more difficult than I expected. We were on the 10th floor, so there were a lot of stairs to climb or descend and we spent a lot of time waiting for the one slow elevator. Also, there was a door connecting our room to the one next door and sounds came right through as if we were sharing a suite. I had to call the front desk twice to complain about the noise next door waking us up.

Good
Positives:
This hotel is super nice. Building is old, but it has a soul, it is nicely refurbished, clean, stylish and its right next to the Empire state building. Subway is right on the corner, plenty places to eat are nearby. Every day fresh bottles of water and kind stuff :)
Negatives:
elevator seemed to be the issue, but they honestly tried to solve the problem and at least one elevator allways worked.
