Positives:
This was our first trip to NYC and we are so happy we chose this hotel! The location is great. Close to everything but not in the middle of the craziness of Times Square. The staff - front desk, doormen, restaurant staff - were all very courteous and friendly. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was large. There was no coffee maker, but one was promptly delivered upon our request. In short, it exceeded our expectations and, although not cheap, for Manhattan it was a great value for the money.
Negatives:
You can definitely hear horns and sirens. There are only 8 floors so if this is a problem for you, you might need to find a hotel with very high floors.
