The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel

Positives: The staff was very nice. Clean room, and they upgrade our room to be comfortable.

Positives: I liked the location. The room was ok. The staff were heavy handed and the difficulty with leaving luggage at end did not improve my view. Maybe its a new york style. I have not used other hotels there but i have all over the world and felt more comfortable in them.

Positives: Location was absolutely perfect. In the centre of Manhattan, near Empire State Building, the High Line, Broadway, etc. We could walk to most things. You are paying for the location rather than a fancy hotel room. The room itself was quite small but this was no problem for us. Bed was comfy. Hotel lobby is a very grand space which feels safe (and is air conditioned!). We appreciated being able to leave our bags after checkout ($5 per bag).

Positives: This property is located within walking distance of Penn Station, Times Square, The Rockefeller Center, Empire State Bldg, the subway to catch a ride to anywhere in NYC and has so many awesome restaurants nearby. It has a fabulous restaurant named Tick Tock on the lobby floor that is open 24 hours a day and serves breakfast, lunch or dinner, whichever you prefer, any time of day. I ate there 3 times during my stay and it was so delicious! I had the “Denver omelette” which has your choice of cheese, ham, green pepper and onions with a large side of hash browns. I also ate a wonderful chicken wrap that was huge. It had bang bang sauce in it and was so good! It was served with a side of chips and salsa. It was delicious!! I highly recommend this place to eat even if you don’t stay at the New Yorker! Our beds were super comfy. The bathrooms are extremely small, but that’s the only negative thing about our stay. It was stocked with plenty of towels, soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. We rented a refrigerator for our room which was a 1 time charge of $35. Housekeeping brought it up right away. They then returned to put up a baby bed in our daughter’s room for our new grandson. They were the fastest response for housekeeping we have ever experienced. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. All the staff was extremely friendly!

Positives: Perfect location, comfortable beds, friendly staff..

Positives: The location of the hotel is great, close to Penn Station, as well as subways, and close to Time Square. The front desk staff is very helpful. I arrived around 12:30pm, and asked if I can early checked-in because I have two baggages. The staff checked that there is one room available and let me checked-in early. This is very helpful for me, since I can go out side without two baggages.

Positives: excellent location & good subway station; great view and nice room. Breakfast at Tick-Toc very good and reasonable for NYC prices. Easy walk to theater district and Times Square
