Positives:
Location was close to times square, there was a safe in the room
Negatives:
The room was tiny, could barely move in it and very dated
Booked for a room with a view and didn't get that. Couldn't even get to the windows for stuff blocking them
Room had damp on the ceiling, bath was cracked, and bed was full of stains
No kettle or fridge
Tv didn't even work properly
Expensive for the room, think the whole place needs some of the money they are charging to go back into it to update it all.
Stayed in a few hotels during our holiday in different places, this has to be the worst out of them all, and the most expensive for 3 nights. Other hotels were a lot better, paid less for mote nights and more dated

Positives:
We are very happy with our stay! Had an amazing view from our room. The location was just perfect close to Penn station. Wifi worked well and there is a powercube in the room (2 USB). It was interesting to visit the small museum about the history of New Yorker hotel. We loved the Tick tock Diner and had breakfast there every day.
