Everything! It was dated and looked nothing like the pictures. It was dark and felt like I was walking into the 80s. The furniture was so worn, scuffed, and broken. The bed was so lumpy, probably because the mattress hasn’t been replaced in 40 years. The bathroom, also so old and gross.

The room view, the amenities, AC, the cleanliness, the warm & friendly staff, water, housekeeping, location, outside safety feel when going back to the hotel. Overall we're planning to book another stay again!
Negatives:
So far, I can't really think of one except there's no rooftop bar but it's not actually needed if you've got a balcony in your room enjoying the surrounding view of these famous bldg., like the Empire state, the Edge, Chrysler etc etc..

I recently stayed at this hotel in New York City, in a deluxe studio with two queen beds, and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was compared to other hotels in the city.
The location was fantastic and incredibly convenient. It was within walking distance to Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building.
The kitchen was a great addition, and I slept great on the bed. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.
Negatives:
Some of the light fixtures in the room were in need of repairs.
