Positives:
The staff were very helpful and the property felt very safe. The location was extremely ideal, walking distance to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, MoMa, and many subway stops. Our double queen room was huge.
Negatives:
The tv didn't really work in our room, and the wifi was only free for 24 hours (though maybe there was a free option after this that I didn't know about). The bathroom was adequate just a little small.

It was fine and clean. We just needed somewhere to keep our luggage and sleep honestly haha we walked around the whole time

The location was fantastic. They held our luggage until check in for no fee.
Negatives:
The rooms need major updating. The fabric headboard was stained, ripped, and pulling away from the frame. There was a large burn hole in the carpet in which you could see the concrete floor. The window shade was tattered, and the cheap chain to raise it was broken. It had been kind of fixed, so it only raised the blind about a third of the way up. We also heard the front desk staff laughing about how they had over booked a room and when the people arrived they wouldn't have a place to stay.

It’s a pretty run down hotel and it does not feel like a 4 star hotel. Would say it’s more of a two star hotel. There were burn marks in the carpet at various places and felt not very clean. Their airport car that you could order was also very run down. The driver was on his phone (YouTube or something) while driving, the ac was not working and the padding in the seats was almost gone. We also got a price from the hotel for this shuttle and they then tried to raise the price from nowhere. The driver was also asking us why the price was set to what it was. We had nothing to do with the pricing as it was set by the hotel
