Positives:
Lots to like: location is great, staff were lovely, manager's wine and cheese hour every day was a convenient meeting point before dinner. There were fluffy bath towels and plenty of toiletries. Issues were sorted out quickly - coffee machine produced when we asked where to get coffee in the morning, and an engineer arrived very quickly to sort out aircon that didn't seem to be working properly.
Negatives:
Two main issues: 1) bathroom was tiny. I get that NYC rooms are small and our room was OK. But the bathroom - the toilet was right up against the sink unit, so quite uncomfortable unless you're a waif, and very little room to dry after a shower. 2) I moved a small chair in our room on the last day, and saw food debris on the floor, that was definitely not from us. The room had been cleaned 4 times, but missed every time - it was a light chair and didn't conceal much. My husband then told me he'd killed two roaches earlier in the week, but hadn't told me in case I freaked out.
Didn't feel like value for money. Wish I'd gone somewhere cheaper and expected less, or more expensive and got something better.

Positives:
The hotel was exceptional, service at a very high level! Clean rooms and excellent location. I want to give special thanks to Dee. The hotel has a happy hour between 17:00 and 18:00 in which hotel guests enjoy free wine and cheese, we only drink kosher wine, so we could not drink the wine served. Dayai took care of us personally and the moment she heard about it she went to buy wine especially for us so that we could drink from it and she did it with great joy and willingness. We really appreciate it, it's not obvious. I wish all service providers were at her level! Thank you very much, we will definitely return to this hotel.

Positives:
Despite the location being right on time square, the rooms remained quiet at night. The staff was very eager to help. One staff member in particular guided us if the elevator was up or down and even pushed the room floor for us. This area is prime for folks who want to catch a Boardway show.
Negatives:
The building is facing another building so not much of a view. We were charged for holding our bags at the hotel after we checked out. The space is limited and I understand if it's there to deter folks from abusing it. But it was my first time ever being charged to hold bags. However it doesn't takeaway from the great experience I had with the staff and the room.

Positives:
Clean, modern. Liked the breakfast and the restaurant option there.
Negatives:
Our 3rd floor room had a view of the air conditioning units for the building.
Maybe the hotel could screen those HVAC with mesh streched over a metal frame on the sides and over the top with beautiful artwork or murals painted on the screening.
If done right, it wouldn't affect the utility of the building system but would greatly enhance it's appearance and your customer experience.
Turn it into a piece of art instead of an eyesore.
