Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This stay was an absolute horrible experience.

Disclaimer- I travel about 120 nights a year for business and know how to rate hotels. I’m lifetime Platinum Marriot Bonvoy. I also used to be elite with either Hilton or Hyatt depending on travel patterns for the year.
This hotel is a former W Hotels property turned into absolute rubbish. The W Residences are next door and I wish I’d AirBnb’d that instead.
New owner did nothing to change the hotel and has managed to hire the WORSE front office staff. Upon our check in there was a line due to only one staff working. The other sat next to her being on FaceTime with her child. When I asked her if she could come help out with the line she responded with a tone that she was on a break.
We were also about 30 minutes early to check in and while the room was ready we could not get it unless we wanted to pay a $50 fee.
There are no amenities at the hotel. The restaurant is not affiliated other than by address. You can’t charge the room and you can’t take your cocktail with you. The old W Bar is still visible in the lobby but not used.
Rooms are worn and dated. Dirty. Our bathroom door did not close more than halfway. Luckily we were barely in the room so not the worst of issues.
It’s located next to WTC and getting in and out with car or Uber is painful. Expect long waits.
Honestly, I regret coming here and would rather choose a Hampton Inn.

The location was brilliant. Walking distance to everything in lower manhattan. Beds were comfortable and adequate. The staff were exceptional, helpful, friendly and attentive. They make the stay there incredibly pleasant.

Staff wasn’t very nice. They did their job but nothing more to expect from there. The shower had mold growing on the roof. The room wasn’t exceptionally clean either. Not worth the money we spent. I’d rather stay in a place that takes care on cleanliness and treats clients better.

close to attractions, subway access, electric bike access. off street parking not too bad.

I paid more for corner room for this great view that was advertised but my view was the buildings next to me. I asked to be moved or downgrade. could not due to fully booked. if you reserve a room for the view and corner ask for a room at least higher than the 15th floor so nothing is blocking your view. Also the heater did not work. froze at night. bedding in between sheets had some one else's hair and food crumbs and what appeared to be salt. There was no fridge or microwave maybe the norm in NY? House keeper tapped very lightly on my door at 8am did not announce herself and walked in. I was up luckily and hollered hey. she backed out quickly. I got up open the door she said aggressively "I knocked, you didn't answer!" I called and asked if that's what they do because I don't check out for another day. Their reply was yes and I should have put the Do not disturb sign on door handle bc housekeeping starts at 8am. I was never informed of that at check in. I stayed 4 days 3 nights this happened on my 3rd day. Odd that didn't happen my first two day stay.
