Worst hotel I have ever been! Never again. We were as I family of 4 and we PAID for the 2 double bed, after 4 at the WESTIN AT TIMES SQUARE. When we first arrived, hobby all clean, seems perfect. When we got to the receptionist, she was being very polite and cool with me, but then she said that there was NO rooms available with 2 beds, just if we were able to way about 2 hours or more, she didn’t know. Because the room was occupied????????? AND THE ONLY OPTION WAS, the one with just ONE bed and a sofa bed. We arrived at almost 6 o’clock, we just had one single night at the hotel, just wanted to enjoy as soon as possible our vacation. And she even tried to argument with me saying that the room that was available WITH ONE BED AND A REALLY REALLY BAD “SOFA BED” was so much better because I was a suite room.
Negatives:
The SOFA BED! I didn’t pay to sleep in a sofa bed, me and my boyfriend woke up with a pretty bad neck pain, just because we didn’t have low pillows at the room, and the mattress was TERRIBLE. My back also did hurts, for a thing that I didn’t even wanted. And also the cleaning was bad, the room didn’t smell anything bad with no clean and good smell also. The bathroom was not clean at all, no extra towels, no more than one hand soap, they did it even had body wash at the bathroom.

Amazing, Well worth the money
Positives:
We had a great room on the 43 floor where we got a view of the Empire State building.
They give you $35 toward food for each day but their prices are high and would easily go over that amount. However we talked with some of the security guards and they recommended a place for breakfast that was a short walk and it was great food. We really appreciated their help and kindness.
Negatives:
We got to the hotel about 9:00PM as our flight from Italy didn't get in until that evening. Now first I want to say that the young lady at the desk was very helpful and professional. We informed her that we were to have a roll-a-way bed and she said that it would be right up. By 10:00 it still had not arrived and we called down and were informed they would get it sent up right away. We were all so tired that we did not call again so one of us ended up making the bathtub a bed. In the morning we notified the manager of what happened and he took care of the matter right a way. We got the roll-a-way now at no extra charge and got some taken off our bill. Not sure what the breakdown was in communications but I was pleased in how they handled it.

On check-in, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave us a upgrade

The room key card seem to be single use. Once we got into the room every single time after that we had to go and get the key refreshed. Instead of being apologetic the receptionist staff were unfriendly. Also the hotel is under a major repair.
