Very small rooms, very small elevators, more like a motel rather than a hotel with a lobby very small and not very nice. Price was way too much for a hotel this quality. Also a policy having to pay significant money for staying later than 11 AM on the day of checkout

Too pricey for a barely...

guest service from the front desk was abysmal. blanca was rude, dismissive, and behaved like it was an imposition to call a bellman to help with my bags.
Negatives:
no customer service, no guest satisfaction. the room was HOT when i entered and the bellman was shocked they'd assigned the room bc the ac wasnt working the day before and engineering was working on it. when i called the front desk to ask for a new room, blanca told me that the room was hot because it got sun most of the day... she never even suggested reassigning me. i requested a refund and left.

front desk needs training in...
Positives:
View from room was amazing and location excellent for downtown. Walking distance to what we wanted to see and good restaurants nearby.
Negatives:
Further USD$40 added to our stay and poor customer service. Will not be recommending this hotel because of it.
(At check-out found we had been charged an additional $20US per day. Hotel Manager was not interested in customer service, just kept saying they wouldn't reverse as they had told me about it three days earlier.
Checked emails, was told "Please note...the total price of your stay is US $..." and under their policies "a daily facility fee...will be applied to each night of your stay". The check-in form noted the "room includes a Facility Fee...".
At no point did they advise that the facility fee was additional, and not included in the total price of the stay. Apparently, the policy didn't exist when I booked the room, but they believe they can send out emails just before check-in changing the price.)

The view from the roof top Bar on the 18th/19th Floor were spectacular!
The staff were brilliant!
The room size I had could have been a bit bigger for a couple, but it was very suitable and comfortable for me as a solo traveller.
Overall, it was a great experience.
