Positives:
A very nice hotel. The staff was wonderful. The attached restaurant was very good. The room was a good size. We had a room with a balcony which had fabulous views toward the Empire State Building. The location was great. In Chinatown near the Italian area so lots of great food around. We were visited the Tenement Museum which was just a short distance away. And there is an accessibility elevator from street level so you can avoid the stairs if needed.
Negatives:
The only thing was something the hotel can't fix. The bathroom was a good size with floor to ceiling windows. But the bathroom door for some reason was lightly frosted glass, and the toilet was just on the other side of the door. So sitting on the bed I had a "great" view of the toilet. Not my favorite.

Positives:
It was located near where we were going to spend the bulk of our time. A pleasant, accommodating staff. The room was small but expected in New York City.
Negatives:
The bathroom could benefit from a rethinking. Though it seemed rather newly redesigned, the lighting was poorly designed to give insufficient light at the sink and the shower has only a half-wall of glass. As a result, when you use the shower, the rest of the bathroom floors gets drenched.
