This is my favorite hotel to go to when I/we come up to Syracuse as we have a son who attends Syracuse University and this hotel has a great location and it’s really nice and the staff is always pleasant and helpful
Negatives:
On this one particular visit the room I was in, room 317, the couch had a very questionable stain on it, so I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it, the main table had a broken leg and one of the lamps by the bed was slightly broken. I’m usually in a great room, this room had a few things that weren’t great, but it was only for one night, I have two planned upcoming visits and I don’t expect to have the same issue in the future

Beds had what appeared to be urine stains on mattresses in both rooms, trash from previous guest wasn’t emptied. Even with mattress protector wasn’t sleeping on bed. No guarantee from front desk on conditions of other rooms, so we canceled and found another hotel, front desk was rather unapologetic over situation. Refunded incidentals but not the full charge as of yet.

Regarding the cleanliness, I have to give it 1 star, because when we got to the room there was hair in the bathtub, the mirrors were cloudy and the comforter was dirty. They changed our room and the cleanliness was just as bad... I asked to change the comforter in the other room because it was also dirty and they brought a mattress cover... so I gave up complaining and left it at that... another thing, I had chosen this hotel because of the indoor pool... and guess what? It wasn't working... total disappointment

The main reason that we chose to stay there was because they have a pool. Unfortunately the pool wasn't in service.
