Hilton Biltmore called and canceled my reservation on my way to the hotel. I had booked the hotel months in advance, so I could be close to my conference, where I was giving the key note presentation, and to feel safe as a solo female traveler. Im very disappointed as industry standards are to prioritize solo female travelers! They said there was a plumbing issue and they put me in another hotel. I spoke with another guest who told me the Hilton had two big companies staying with them and they overbooked themselves. There was clearly no plumbing issue, they just needed to make space for their financial gain. This hotel is unreliable and I will never be staying here again, which is unfortunate because I have several conferences in this location per year.
