Always stay in Rocky Mount traveling back and forth from Florida and always have experienced wonderful friendly staff. This establishment from the minute I walked in my experience was uninviting. I'd be in around 8-830p due to weather and requested a 8-9 check in.
We arrived shortly after 830 closer to 840. Employee stated oh I was giving your room away in 10 minutes. You're late and no card on file. Asked if I still wanted the room.
The woman in the morning was wonderful.

No soap in bathroom. Lobby locked at 7. No elevator when staying on second floor. Had to pull up heavy suitcases to get upstairs. Curtain was off part of track door to bath had a foot print and when u opened door it was so close to toilet. The wall and floor by toilet was disgusting. After driving for 10 hours it was a shocking disappointment.
