Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

I really enjoyed the suite, it was so beneficial, and the location was five minutes from my daughter, whom house was so full for the holidays, I had fun with my family, but I needed two days of quiet, relaxing rest alone-time, and I slept so good!

The rooms smelled of smoke! The table was covered in sticky stuff. The bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling wall and around the tub. The shampoo conditioner and body wash is a shareable bottle. The couch had crumbs on it from the previous guest.

The late-night staff member who was understanding of the situation. Since there was a big bug in the room late night after 1 am and I was tired and rainy it was I went to try another room.
Negatives:
There was a very big size waterbug cockroach that came out of the curtain. Got another room and later requested a partial refund for the inconvenience. Instead they only did $13 off which was insufficient for the issue which was 15% of my bill.

Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so I had to use the stairs which isnt horrible in itself but then you add -the bathroom tub had dead bugs in it -the key card didnt work on exterior doors causing additional inconvenience -the room had an odor that smelled like smoke and musty -the tv channels were very limited -the floors and overall room appearance was unclean and unkept
