Positives:
It was under construction, since i booked the room via third party (booking.com), they referred me to booking.com. They did not solve my problem, also booking.com did not help, after lots of calls and messages, they did not provided what it was listed as room i booked. I am disappointed at both hotel and booking.com and will not use it, although i have been a loyal customer since 2012

Breakfast wasn’t included kinda odd since I was in a higher price room I didn’t know you had to pay a certain price to get breakfast. Love the view in my room and location to the beach and pier.
Negatives:
Well the fire alarm went off at 11 pm we had to awake and leave the building I think it was a water pressure issue with the pool. So that was a little alarming to wake up to. Also people would leave their dogs in the room and they would bark for a couple of hours while they were out so that was annoying.

Pool and hot tub were filthy. Parking lot had broken glass. Fire alarm randomly woke us late at night. Stayed on for several minutes. We began evacuating. No text or communication from front desk on what was happening. The person who checked me in entered the wrong expiration date for my credit card causing it to decline. I used a different card, but then called my card company.

Staff was amazing, and the remodeled part of the hotel was beautiful. I knew it was under renovation, JT chose to stay there even tho many amenities were not available. The staff was very responsive, ready with restaurant recommendations since their restaurant was take-out/in-room only.
The renovated rooms were quite nice, and very comfortable!
