Perfect
Positives:
Amenities in the room
Negatives:
We had a gathering in the bar and they didn't know about it. Might have been that our leader didn't tell the front desk.
Positives:
As always, I love the great breakfast provided every morning. It simplifies the logistics of every trip. Also the cleanliness of the room and facility.
Negatives:
I have zero complaints.

We stayed two nights. It was easy to check in and no stop to check out.

Very good
Positives:
This hotel is very close to alot of restaurants and stores close by. The hotel was very clean and modernly decorated. The room was extremely clean and tidy. The use of digital keys and being able to check in and out on the app was extremely convenient. We only stopped at the desk once to ask for pillows and to purchase bottled water.
Negatives:
The pillows were AWFUL. Beyond terrible. When you laid on them they were almost flat to the bed. We had to ask for extra pillows to stack and try to make a decent pillow. The beds are advertised as queen but I am almost certain they are double. There was significantly less space in that bed that our queen bed at home that we sleep in every night. The beds were not really that comfortable to us, but that is a matter of opinion. The room was small compared to others we have stayed in and seemed crowded with all the furniture. (2 beds, nightstand, fridge/microwave, dresser/tv stand, chair, desk, desk chair) Also of note, the doors are locked if coming from the outside after a certain time. Our daughter & friend came after a concert around 12:45am and the automatic sliding door was locked. Luckily the desk attendant was there and let them in but he alluded to the fact that someone is not always at the desk at that time of night. Had he not been there we would have had to go down and let them in the door. Not saying this is a bad thing but if the door is locked someone needs to be there or a buzzer to be let in.

Good
Positives:
Friendly, bight, helpful staff. Nice room. Nice breakfast bar.
Negatives:
No luggage cart, had to haul heavy bags by my lonesome - closer to 80 years old than 75... Some sort of event was taking place Sun. morning, the lobby was overrun by the guests who were intent on heading to their church, LOUD music was blasting, and the porte cochere was blocked by vehicles parked wily-nilly, and never moved for 30 minutes. You couldn't weave your way through, because some of those vehicles' doors were left ajar, and a gaggle of passengers stood and visited and didn't move out of the way. I moved my car as close as possible, but still had to hoof it across the lot through the crowds. Reception clerk was very apologetic.

Very good
Positives:
The hotel was exceptionally clean! It smelled wonderful. That was the first thing I noticed and commented on that several times. My kids enjoyed the pool. It was also very clean and always fully stocked with pool towels. Having a restroom AT the pool was very nice. We were upgraded to a king suite for free and that was an unexpected surprise. The location was in a very busy area, but it was convenient to the places we visited. We went to the NC museum of Science (highly recommend!) and also went for a walk in William Umstead Park. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff. Breakfast was very good too.
Negatives:
The only complaints are that the mushroom fountain in the pool was not working. However, the front desk attendant did offer to let us visit the sister hotel's pool which had a mushroom fountain too...but it was very chilly and we didn't want to walk back wet and cold so we didn't go. Also, the pool is very shallow. It was perfect for my 5 year old, but my teenagers were a little disappointed that the deep part of the pool was only chest high to them. We still enjoyed ourselves though!
