Negatives: Booked a reservation and paid on May 28th for my bday June 5th. After reading a review on June 2nd, that stated the pool was closed. I called June 3rd and requested a free cancelation since the pool was closed, and the reservation was for my bday get away. Asia, the woman I spoke with confirmed the hotel pool was closed and stated I would not be charged. She stated I needed to confirm with booking.com 3rd party about the refund and I did. But booking.com states they need written confirmation from the hotel that I won't be charged. Per the hotel, had I booked with them directly the refund would be instant. Per booking.com, they have been unable to get up with the hotel. Nobody has called me, nor booking.com, email or message me in regards ro my refund from this hotel. Booking.com stopped responding to me on June 7th. I asked for them to show me where it states they need written authorization from the hotel that I didn't stay in to issue a refund. I canceled because the pool was close for Maintenance and this wasn't advertised on the hotel website. Today Is June 18th and I don't have a refund ... the hotel and booking.com work together to keep folks money. This is straight up fraud. Nobody hasn't even responded to my Google review either. This review is being done one booking.com.. imagine you book a room for your bday, pay in advance, then days later see an online review stating how dirty the hotel is and the pool is closed. I just wanted to get away For my bday and be in a pool. I called the pool is close, this should be an automatic refund. To keep my money is wrong, this is not a place you would want to stay or do business with..
