The lounge was a great place to hang out with friends. Loved the vibe and the decor. I loved the design of the rooms as well.
Negatives:
Walls are very thin, so there was a ton of noise in the hallways that prevented good rest. I requested a quiet room, but was put in a room that next to the stairwell door, which frequently slammed shut.

Positives:
The location of the hotel was very close to the downtown Raleigh area, where our other friends/family were staying, and not too far from Dorothea Dix Park. The staff were very warm and welcoming.
Negatives:
The lighting in the room was very limited. Our door didn't lock properly which isn't safe, especially since we were located on the first floor. In addition, I'm not sure if room service came to our room because we had to request new towels and for our trash to be emptied. There was also no trash bag available, which can be a downfall for women.

The staff was super friendly, in a genuine way, not because they had to be for the job. The decor was EVERYTHING!! So swank & fun! Oh, and the cocktails were on point!

Truly wasn’t even a big thing & totally out of anyone’s control - traffic noise when sitting outside. The atmosphere MORE than makes up for it!!!! I feel petty even mentioning it.

Standard 12 checkout time, awesome lounge, great coffee and staff, comfortable beds and rooms. We could walk anywhere in downtown within 15-20 mins. Hotel definitely goes above and beyond. Will be back.

Positives:
Did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but the coffee was good.
Staff at front desk was pleasant and helpful.
Very conveniently packed ice in bags to take to the room.

Noisy. Rooms are not well sound insulated from hallway and exterior noises.
Bed was uncomfortable.
Additional charge noted on my credit card, and calls requesting info were not returned. filed a dispute with the insurance company to get an answer.

Super stylish everything: the interior decoration, the signage, the hotel merch and branded items were all lovely. I really dig this style of modernized motel-type spots and this one was one of the best I've been to. What lovely staff; wish I could stay and chat all day and night!

I'll always prefer a hot breakfast option instead of cold stuff but not a dealbreaker by any means.

The Mom Trip
Positives:
Cute decorations, lobby is nice, area is very walkable, and the staff are very friendly. It was convenient and easy to access. It's basically a motel but with the rooms facing an interior hallway, and it felt safe.
Negatives:
I couldn't tell what in the room was complementary or not, so I simply didn't touch or open anything they provided. The furniture in the room was kind of old. The walls are relatively thin so I frequently heard other guests in the hallway.

Great hotel near Downtown Raleigh,...
Positives:
I like picking places that are “different”. You guys offered cool snacks and drinks. The bathroom was clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job of paying special attention to their job, including even making a cool design on the bath tissue. (I didn’t have cash with me to leave for them and I always make a point to do this but I promise I will make it up to them next time if you will tell me who cleaned room 36 so I can take care of them, please!! Real talk, please. You have my email.)

It was a bummer the ice machine was out of order but that’s life and things happen. Not a dealbreaker:)
