The general manager told me that my reservation was for Friday, when it clearly says Thursday, and my money was already taken. I was not given a room, because they apparently lack the technology or caring to take care of customers that arrive at 13am. This is why I canceled my Friday & Saturday reservations and will tell the 2,500 people at my event never to stay at extended stay america.

Door latches falling off. Significant Stains on floors, mattresses and appliances. Breakfast consisted of a small muffin and coffee. Personally wouldn’t let my family stay here again. If I had the ability to find somewhere else when we checked in and saw what it was we would have left. I was personally embarrassed to have my family stay in such poorly maintained accommodations.

Positives:
How clean it was -the cleaning staff did an awesome job. The stove and cookware available was super. Also the front desk staff was as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. The breakfast was great (but could use some Cheerios or gluten-free cereal.)
Negatives:
There is no way to enforce stopping smokers and lots of construction on units (until October) and their vehicles. On the first day, I just noticed a whiff of smoke. Then at lunch the next day I saw the man sitting on the breezeway steps smoking (when there are ashtrays on the first floor close to open air). The manager was gone that evening and I had to spend time in my car because it was so nasty in my room - obviously the man began smoking inside the unit below mine. The staff could only put notices on doors. In the morning when I left I saw the same man in the breezeway on the steps again (despite the notice) and asked him to stop. Finally that night was okay again.

The refrigerator in the room was very old and its engine kept working every 30 minutes for few minutes making annoying noises.
Breakfast consisted of muffins, coffee and tea. No fresh milk was available.
