Front door not clearly marked; elevator malfunctioning, so I had to go outside to get to stairs to my hall - and the outside access door was not secured, nor was the stairwell door to my floor; additional maintenance equipment littered the hallway to the front desk (apparently a ceiling leak had been attended to).

15min by car to go to the city center and very close to the airport. Price OK, nice to have a pool available, and the rooms were comfy (except the smell).
The shuttle early in the morning is very convenient.
Negatives:
The day we arrived, there were rooms without electricity. It can happen, but the hotel didn't tell in advance and instead asked if we wanted to cancel the reservation when we were already there at the desk(by night). Luckily our room had electricity in it, so it wasn't a problem, except that the elevator was out of order for the first days and we were on the 3rd floor with heavy luggages.
The room was supposed to be non-smoking but the smell said otherwise... And you cannot open the window to chase it. Very uncomfortable for non-smoking people. We didn't ask to change the room in case we would have one without electricity. And the entire floor smelled anyway.
Cards to open the room's door disconnected a few times.
Half of the machines in the fitness room doesn't work.

The hallway was dark as hell. I had to use my phone light. I asked for a flashlight or battery operated fan and they looked and sounded frustrated with me. I went to my room and immediately went back to the front desk and checked out. I asked for my money to be refunded on my credit card. They said booking.com has to do it.
