For it being a Marriot, the hotel was a dump. The toilet leaked, it smelled and the evening staff was more concerned about his blood pressure watch than helping us check in. We were also quoted a price of $269, and were charged $369 on our credit card which we are now trying to figure out why.

Positives:
Staff & services were exceptional. Night manager Devon was the MVP Friday night after the Billy Joel & Rod Stewart concert. Show ended late & everything closed on the way back. The pantry store was also closed & he made the call to open it up so quite a few guest were able to get something to snack on. He was strictly the best!

We weren’t given the room we paid for. Even after telling the front desk they moved us to a room that still wasn’t the one we paid for. The staff acted clueless. Even after explaining it twice the person helping us said “well if it’s not clean we’ll move you”. What? I’ll never stay there again.

The hotel was amazing, staff was friendly , on-site excursions are fun- great hotel for if you are looking to stay in! We will return for a more calm weekend in the city.
Negatives:
Having to pay for parking every time we leave was frustrating- the location is good, but not good enough to not have to use your car. We spent over $100 on parking in one day- which was a bit much. Also got charged $50 because they couldn’t “see my card on file” but I paid at the time of booking and showed them the transaction- so I’m hoping that gets refunded! But everything else was great!

Customer service was exceptional. They were quiet, professional and very kind. We got hungry after our concert and they directed us to a local pizza place around the corner that we were able to walk to and from after midnight and it was completely safe. In fact, they were actually filming Superman a couple streets over!
