Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Positives:
Room was large as it had a mini-kitchen. We did some cooking as we brought some cooking utensils. Overall room was in good condition and the front desk was helpful. There is a Kroger grocery store approx. 1 miles away (easy driving) and a COSTCO about 1.5 miles away.
Negatives:
Polaris is in a newer area and there are restaurants and many other hotels in the area. With a Kroger/Costco nearby; it is in a more mixed/residential area. 6-10 miles from the center of Columbus.
