The pool was closed. Apparently, it has been closed for 3 years or so.
Shower floor had chunks and chips missing.
Many patchwork fixit jobs have been done sloppily.
Housekeeping woke us up at 9am to see if we left yet.
We knew it was going to be pretty bare bones and basic..so we expected as much.

The staff was very friendly and the location was good.
Negatives:
The room was rundown looking, it's cleanliness was questionable. The bathroom sink needed repairs, the water sprayed all over you when you turned it on. The pool was closed which would've been a plus in the 90 degree weather.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Negatives:
The building was surrounded all sides by men drinking alcohol, grilling, and playing loud music until after 2am. The atmosphere felt unsafe. Because of this, the stairwells smelled like alcohol, vomit, and urine. The air conditioner in our room leaked water on the floor and we had to put towels down.

Stains on the sheets. Wash clothes and towels were dirty. The pipes also made a really loud noise after using the restroom that lasted 2-3 minutes
