It was worth the price

Hotel had no hot water for showering. And refused to refund my money. Phones in room didn’t work so I had to continually walk to front desk to ask when the hot water would return. Kept being told boiler is lighting but since they had a sellout due to Ohio state football game the boiler couldn’t keep up.

Guests were rude, slamming doors at early morning hours, breakfast was poor, eggs cold, potatoes hard as a rock, and the room was ok but iffy, and would not want to take my better half there to not be embarrassed. Maintenance, cleaning, and cheap upkeep could and should be paramount. Spend $20 on a flipping toaster for the bagels and toast for the Continental Breakfast so to speak, a few bucks on masking tape when painting the walls in the rooms, and spend a little money on door closers for the rooms so they do not disturb or wake the paying guests that stay there. Staff were very nice and friendly, that was about it....

Found an ant on the bed, then later saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Has holes in the corners of floor, doors are worn, needs new paint. Just felt very old, but I can get past updating issues, but not ants and cockroaches, that's unacceptable. The breakfast was powdered eggs and mushy hashbrowns, the waffle iron burnt the waffle. Will NEVER stay here again (& will deter people from staying here).
