We liked the location, a few minutes from the Air Force Museum. We like that they had a pool. We liked that they offered breakfast. We had pleasant chat with the afternoon desk person.
Negatives:
We got to the room and beds were made but there was cheese in the microwave, a piece of Cheeto, under the sink, stains on the carpet and bits of junk not vacuumed. There was a gray hairball in the bathroom by the toilet. The bathroom had no shampoo, tile needed cleaned as the grout was black where people used it and white where they hadnt. Peroxide or bleach was way overdue. And our toilet roll had about 6 squares so we had to ask for toilet paper. Coffee supply was not loaded. No cups! Had to ask for tea.The pool had a slime water line on the top 4 inches of the wall and there was a family with 3 kids jumping in from all sides screaming and splashing for the entire pool time. No one did anything to calm that chaos, so we eventually just left. Oh forgot to mention the wall plug that didnt work and the tub lever that wasnt fully attached to the wall. There was no folding rack to set suitcases. We told the desk person about the unclean issues and said we would remain in our room but they needed to know about it. They didnt offer to send anyone up to clean or take anything off the bill. We love Hamptons but this was a first poor experience for us.
