Negatives: Very out dated, air conditioner made odd loud noises especially at the end of cycle. The grab and go breakfast was basically non existent

Negatives: Hallways and staircases not clean.

Negatives: The bathroom could have a hair dryer.

Negatives: No elevator. Front desk staff were not helpful. I was charged 2 times for stay and they were difficult to deal with. Finally got refund from booking Their staff kept telling me that no manager to help. Booking.com took over and got me my refund.

Negatives: I booked through Priceline.com, or one of the travel booking sites. In doing so, I filtered my search based on accessibility, given that I am a senior citizen with bad knees and dietary requirements such that I packed all my meals for a three day stay. The coolers I used where big, packed with food, water and Ice. with this in mind I requested Extended Stay with an elevator. The Fairfield Ohio location was one of the sites returned by the search engine. However, when I arrived, not only did the attendant tell me that there were no elevators (which was not a show-stopper per se), but I felt that the attendant deliberately misled me about the stair cases I'd have to negotiate to get to my room on the fist level. Another attendant reminded that person (who directed me up a flight of stairs, down a hallway, then down a really long flight of stairs to get to my room), that I could park in the back of the facility and enter there to get to my room. Fine, I did so and was OK, until I got into my room. First the lighting was horrendous, and the toilet seat was not secure to the toilet. Second, the bedding was horrible, extra firm, so much so that I woke up the next morning with back pain. Very uncomfortable stay. I then informed the staff that my initial intent of staying three days would end with a one day stay. At check out, the front office staff themselves "checked-out", never returning to the office. This was maybe 10:30am, so I sat in the lobby for 15 - 20 minutes, finally having to call the corporate switchboard to check me out and email me my receipt (and to confirm my refund). Finally, although I usually check customer reviews on the Yelp platform before committing $$, I failed to do this vital procedure because I was in a rush upon leaving for the trip. When I did review the Yelp customer reviews it was no surprise that I was just another of a long list of dissatisfied customers.

Negatives: Mattress was uncomfortable and one side had broken springs and a big dip in it

Negatives: Extended Stay of America is not really a hotel. It's more like a cheap apartment complex. I expected this; I've been to extended stays before. However, this one is definitely the worst I've ever booked, and the photos do not match the current state of the facility. The area around the "hotel" is rough and made me feel unsafe. There is no elevator to my room. The room left much to be desired and did not feel clean. I struggled to get a good night's sleep because the neighbors were loud and obnoxious. While the price was reasonable, there are better hotels nearby for about the same price.
