I had several issues.
Negatives:
The room had self closing doors. At 1:15 pm I exited my room with my arms full. The desk lady came out into the hall to tell me not to let the door slam, as there are customers that worked all night and had to sleep.
The door slams on its own.
The management did not assign me a smoking room per my request. I had to go back and forth to my car to smoke. I’m disabled so this wasn’t okay.
I had just passed the desk person in the hall, going out to my car. I forgot my key card. I had to sit in the lobby for 10+ minutes waiting in the lobby. He was not there. I apologized for locking my self out. He took my name, checked the computer to verify my name, but then he said he couldn’t let me in without an ID. I had to explain it was in my room. He then made me show him my ID from the inside of my room. All this when he saw me exit my room when I was walking out.
They even denied my late check out.
I had received a text asking if I wanted a smoking room, and a late check out.
Don’t know why I even got a text asking me if I wanted those things. I put yes on both. They denied both requests.

Holes in wall upon entering, someone else's hair hanging out of hair dryer, half a dozen stink bugs in room, cockroach walking across bathroom door as soon as we entered. Even after having keycard remade it still wouldn't let me enter from outside of building. Chair in the room was literally on its last leg, to the point we wouldn't use it because we didn't want charged for damaging property. Therefore we sat on the bed for everything and already were weary of that because of the cockroach. Unless the bedsheets and blankets stay together as a mated set, then they hadn't been changed since a previous occupant burnt all the way through the blanket, top sheet and bottom sheet and through mattress protector. The cable wouldn't change channels and all lights except above sink and in bathroom were unplugged upon arrival. If zero stars were a possible rating that would still be to high.

-breakfast was very little option for my wife. I had enough to start my day, but no gluten free for wife. Coffee was not good.-bad

I felt that Wyndam was misleading as I have a rewards program. I did not realize that our stay would not be included to five nights that I accrued in Minnetonka, Minnesota in February of 2024. There fore because we booked through a website we did not get points for these two nights. I was sad about this. At first we even thought we might go to another hotel that night. He is the one who said he would look into it. My husband was the one who read the fineprint to learn about booking online. The man behind the glass said that he would look into it to see if we could get credit, but we never heard from him during our stay or since we visited the weekend of July 20-21st. We travel and will need to stay at hotels, so please get back with us regarding the possibility of getting those two nights onto our rewards. Thanks, Kathy and Mark Gerber
