Positives:
Value, location. Comfortable beds.
Negatives:
Breakfast was nothing. The one morning had apple and banana nothing else. The next morning ZERO WAS OUT. When I checked in I was told I had to pay a $50 deposit and that will be refunded if room was left ok. Which we did. I was told for 14 days it will be refunded in 5 to 6 business days. Day 14 I recvd email that stated I never paid $50 deposit. So BEWARE THEY LIED TO ME. yes $ 50 is not alot but it is when u had to evacuate unexpedictly for Huriicane Milton and when we got home we lost all of our food in fridge and freezer along with all my insulin. So any $$ could of helped.

Positives:
The bed was most comfortable. The room was quiet.
Negatives:
I did not like the check in procedures of this motel...and it is...a motel, not a hotel. I was asked to state an approximate arrival time which I did, but was running about 45min late. The hotel desk phoned me to inquire if I was still going to use my reservation and I was only 45 minutes late from my expected time of arrival. I found that rude. In addition, when I arrived, I had to give my driver's license for it to be copied, and I had to pay a $50 deposit on top of my room rate. The deposit was immediately charged to my credit card, and upon departure, it has still not been credited back to my credit card and it has now been 4 days. I called and was told that the credit to my account would occur within 10 business days. I find this lag unacceptable as the charge occurred immediately, the credit back should be applied immediately upon check out when no damages are reported in the room. My deposit payment was expected immediately; my credit back should occur with equal speed.
The entrance to the hotel parking lot is not adequately lit at night and it was evident that it was difficult to see as it is a shared entrance to the Hampton next door. We had difficulty seeing the entrance, as did the people we saw coming in immediately following us. There needs to be a light installed at the entrance to the parking lot from the street. Another concern, there was no elevator on the premises.

Good night's sleep, but uncomfortable...
Positives:
Location.
Negatives:
The front desk staff is disrespectful, condescending, and racist.
On the 3rd day of my stay, I requested room service, but they didn’t make my bed. When I asked about it the next morning, the front desk told me they don’t make beds. Ok Fair. However, in my room I saw a sign reading "We'll change your towels and sheets every three days", So, I politely went downstairs and asked, “I saw the sign, three nights have passed, can we get our sheets changed now?”
He went, "SO YOU COME HERE TO COMPLAIN?", "GO BACK AND READ THE SIGN.", "You ask for room service every day" (firstly, not true; secondly, that's my right even if I did.) and started to blame and argue with me in a very disrespectful tone for 10 minutes. How can he say that? Isn’t the front desk supposed to handle complaints and explain the rules?
Ironically, I watched a white man before me yelling at the same staff member for actually changing his sheets, and the staff smiled and apologized to him. I would call this racism.
I also re-read the sign later, and it literally says, “If you'd prefer fresh towels or sheets, please contact the front desk and our housekeeping team will be happy to help.”
