Absolutely horrible!

Everything! The moment we checked in my gut was telling me to leave. 1st the room we booked was supposed to be non smoking, it was very smoky. The bed had stains on them. The toilet was leaking and there was only one rowel for starters. We left some things then went to the front desk to get more towels. He gave me one. He said that's all he could give me. The people that were hanging around there did not seem very family oriented to say the least. Upon going into the room I believe we Sawa drug deal. After we headed put for for dinner after getting the one towel, we got another room at a hotel down the street a lot better. We came back to red roof at 20 minutes later to grab our belongings I noticed a red mark on our door handle that was not previously there. As we were leaving there was a drug deal or prostitution or both going on right in front of my kids. We went to the office, I handed the guy the towel he gave me, told him we were checking out. He asked why then I told him and he wasn't surprised. But I got even more irritated that he knew and saw my family and didn't say anything. He put us in harms way. I asked about a refund but I didn't expect anything. Not from an establishment like that or management. Apparently they know exactly what is going on and allowing it. I will be calling law enforcement and letting them know what happened with us.

AC was not working at all in the room. It was cooler outside than in the room. Called the front desk and told the attendant, he said he would be right up. An hour later he still hadn’t came. Called back and asked if we could just switch rooms. We got to the new room and the AC wasn’t working in there either. It was so hot that we couldn’t even stay. We packed up our things and went somewhere else for the night.
