Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. Cozy, feel like home

Negatives:
There was a bad smell in the room. The whole hotel seams to have the best days behind. We asked the front desk lady for 2 chairs in our room, because we was 4 people. We never received them. Also the first night was cancelled by them and we never received our money back for this night. Overall we cannot recommend to stay here.

On the 3rd day of our stay there was a powerful storm that caused an electric power outage. No lights, air conditioning or refrigerator. The staff said power would not be restored for many days as the entire area was affected. Therefore we had to checkout earlier than our reservation checkout date. I tried making contact with Booking.com on August 8th but have not received an email back regarding a refund for the days we could not stay. I would appreciate an acknowledgement of this problem.

The Wi Fi was out from Friday to Wed afternoon. I was working from the room so it was inconvenient to go to the lobby for Wi Fi. Also, my lock did not have battery power and it took 50 minutes to fix and get me back into my room. Of course we tried several cards, but it was the mechanism.

It is normally an excellent hotel. This time we where super disappointed. The room we stayed in wasn’t clean properly very dirty. Very unacceptable. From the carpet needs steam cleaning, to sheets where not changed, lights dirty and dead flys in them, curtains dirty. Faulty lighting. Wifi didn’t work half of the stay. No hot tub.
