Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Mentor/Willoughby

Negatives: Mold on the wall and ceiling in the bathroom. No refrigerator or microwave or coffee maker in the room.

Negatives: When you walk in to the office it made me fill like i was staying at one of does off the road hotels you see in on police shows. every thing was with completely cover in plastic shields like it was not a safe place to be.

Negatives: TV inop and no one to fix it. Door card reader did not work initially. Had to walk to office with remote because no one available to help and they were unable to fix. No housekeeping.

Negatives: First, you do not offer servicing the room unless requested. That is no longer the industry standard. When we did ask, halfway through our 6 night stay, the beds weren't made, the sink, tub and toilet weren't cleaned. All that was done was empty the trash and leave fresh towels. And we had to ask for fresh towels when needed. What part of servicing a room don't you understand? And, though I should have checked the website out further, no breakfast. Will not stay at a Red Roof Inn again.

Negatives: One of the rooms we were given hadn’t even been cleaned since the last occupant. The door to that room didn’t shut either. The staff was unsympathetic and didn’t offer a new room. The room we had that appeared cleaned was extremely smelly.

Negatives: The front desk lady hung up on me when I called to say the TV didn't work because she was too busy. No coffee pot.

Negatives: It would have been much more comfortable with a coffee/tea selection in the room, also a small refrigerator would have been nice.

Negatives: The staff was very rude and unhelpful. When we checked in, I had put a note on booking for the room to be on the 1st floor, and I was informed they didn't get the note. She did find one for us but was not happy about having to do it. When we checked out I asked for a receipt for the stay and I was refused a printed receipt because he said they had a contract with booking and that don't don't want the customer to know what booking pays the hotel for our rooms and what we pay for the rooms. So he flat out refused to give me one. I have used booking for many years, and we have stayed in many different hotels and motels all over Ohio and many other states and have never had the problems we had with this one. So, I will never use the Red Roof in Willoughby again.

Negatives: Not every room has a microwave or fridge. There was only one type of room on booking.com. I checked with the front desk, but they cannot modify the reservation by booking, and the other rooms are more expensive, unlike other Inns, so they cannot "upgrade" you. The coffee in the lobby was not hot the next morning around 10am.
