The orange juice was very diluted but I was first in line so that could have been it. The eggs were powdered? and so so.
The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows and a few flat pillows which I appreciated. Lighting was good. Climate control was good and everything seemed clean.
Loved the friendliness of the new owners and staff. I can tell they want to do a good job.
Negatives:
TV remote guide doesn't work. Unacceptable to have to get up and go press the guide on the black box.
Shampoo and soap was blah. I prefer the mounted bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash at Fairfield.
Biggest complaint....bathtub did not drain. Unacceptable.

The pool was green and not usable. There were no paper products including toilet paper. We had to go to Walmart and buy our own soap and toilet paper. There was no breakfast as advertised, we ended up at Starbucks just to get coffee. It definitely did not meet the quality we are used to with this hotel chain.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Paid for breakfast but the breakfast offered was not ready until around 10:00 am. A little late don't you think? No one there to replenish coffee, no waffles at all, no milk or juice for our 4 year old grandson. He ate dry cereal.
Negatives:
Advertised a pool but the pool was green. During the whole time of our stay, 3 days, there was no TV, no wi-fi, no pool, no ice in the ice machines (in any of the ice machines). A staff member walked into our room at 11:30 our first night there, my husband keeps a firearm on the nightstand whenever we go anywhere. If he hadn't abruptly left he would have been shot. Staff came back to our room 2 more times that night, the last time at 1:30 in the morning. Said they didn't show us as checked in and charged us a no-show fee, we asked how they thought we had a keycard for the room. Saturday July 6 we were locked out of the hotel for over 30 minutes, after being on the lake all day and were hot and tired. Sign on the door said no rooms available, to push button for assistance. We pushed the button probably 50 times and only got in because another person was coming out. Upon checkout we were told that they needed to reverse our initial payment of $340.02 through PayPal and they would re-bill us for only 2 nights $261.04. We were re-billed but the reversal still hasn't happened. So we are out $601.06 plus the no-show fee for a 3 night stay at the crappiest hotel we have ever stayed at in our life. The manager was clearly over her head and had no idea how to deal with disgruntled guests, which she had a hotel full of. Our friends booked but there too but there was no rooms left and they had to go to another hotel. The whole point of going with friends and family was to spend time with friends and family. Not stay at separate hotels. When my daughter was questioning what was going to be done about such a crappy stay the manager threatened to have her trespassed. My daughter is 8 months pregnant and your manager was so rude to her I told her to please go ahead and call the police. Because the way it looks is someone, her, is committing credit card fraud. My question is...is there any way you can reimburse us for our money?

Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
Negatives:
No toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, or hand soap. No breakfast. No front desk staff overnight to buzz us in, had to go to the back door. It was like a ghost town.
