The woman cooking the food told us we had to give her $10 cash even though we were not eating the hot food. Then another woman who works there said “we don’t take cash” you have to charge it to the room. The cook seemed to be pretending to understand less English than she actually could. One of the girls even tipped her extra….she ended up with $80 from our group, pocketing the $ we were “paying” for the breakfast the website said was supposed to be free. WOW, sad

The room and hotel was very clean and acces
sible. Everything about the hotel met our standards, except the maintenance upkeep.

The window shade in our handicap room was obviously patched with electrical tape and we could not move the shade up or down. There was no electricity to it, to close it. I had to use hair clips and pins to close for privacy.

It was clean. Close to places we needed to go.

Felt out dated.
I thought the breakfast was included- it wasnt. Thats my fault - but the booking couldve been more clear.
The bed wasnt the most comfortable. We never felt rested.
There was no where to fill up a water bottle.
The bathroom didnt have a fan.
And the elevators were very slow and creeky - we kept thinking we would get stuck.

Location to event, eating places, cleanliness as well as appearance.

The stay was great, apart from 2 days where there were no kitchen or cleaning staff available (reasons unknown) so there was no room or kitchen service apart from reception. Fortunately the management put out a continental breakfast and the rooms were cleaned when staff could return. I was not upset as I know what it's like to manage a business. Apart from that the hotel is in a great location and very well kept. I would definitely stay there again.
