Took 3 tries to find a clean room, coffee maker did not work, remote did not work, iron surface was black/burnt, passing rooms smelled like marijuana

HVAC is poor in the suite I had. PTAC unit is in bedroom so only the bedroom has any kind of climate control (thermostat is in living room). Horrible setup. Living room totally unusable. Rest of hotel is just fine.

Loose towel rack, fell sideways. Loose toilet seat. Coffee maker inop. Bizarre shower head water direction op, never seen that. Otherwise std HIExp hotel I expected.

The nightly rate was cheap and the room itself was clean, unlike the rest of the hotel and amenities.
Negatives:
The front desk person was busy watching movies with ear buds and did not notice a line of guests. Kitchen attendant would not let guests get plates or silverware without giving their names and room number. The heated pool was warmer than the hot tub.

Staff were extremely rude and rooms were in need of repairs. Entire pool area was out of service and they told us we could cancel if we cared. Put us in the wrong type of room and wouldn't allow me to add my loyalty membership to the reservation.
