Positives:
The location was nice. It was only a couple of blocks to historic Nye Beach and there was a view of the ocean from the property (although not from my room). While I was there for work I appreciated knowing it was a pet friendly place because I do travel with my dogs at times.
Negatives:
First of all, the photos are very misleading with the aerial view. It looks like the hotel is right on the beach or at least has beach access. While there is a view, there are cliff bands along this stretch and you have e to walk about 4-5 blocks for access to the beach. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to know. The biggest problems I had though had to do with the paper thin walls, the dirty floor, and the continental breakfast. It really didn’t have much and didn’t open until 8am, which was disappointing since I woke up entirely too early because I could hear every little thing. Also, the photos make it appear as though there’s a nice lobby with seating in a sun room, but it was a dingy building with a few tables and chairs and a the prep kitchen was packed with things and appeared dirty. Also, the faucet on the bathroom sink was really loose and didn’t work well, the window lock was broken and didn’t work, and the Kurtis coffee machine was dirty. It was definitely a motel 6 vibe and it wasn’t exactly cheap. I know prices have gone up but I shouldn’t have paid $150/night for this place as the amenities and cleanliness fell short. I likely won’t be staying here again unless I don’t have any other choice.

This was rated as a 3 star hotel and it was definitely not. I’d say it was a 2, the pictures were misleading and the “breakfast” they had pictures of tons of food but actually served stale bagels and foot loops and that was it. It was so frustrating to have a place so differently portrayed in their pictures and descriptions.

The young lady on check-in was amazing.

The advertised heated pool was not at all heated, shower in the pool room broken, sauna broken, And many more things in desperate need of repair. There were stains on the comforter and sheets. Our full ocean view had a building in front of it and powerlines. The breakfast attendant was lackluster, behind on simply keeping toast, cereal, and yogurt stocked. They did not have any napkins, and the breakfast attendant did not care to try to remedy the problem. I got paper towels out of the restroom and gave them to other guests as well.

Location was nice, staff was wonderful and accommodating. King ocean view room was a wonderful view of the sunset each night.

Bed was extremely hard to the point that we couldn't side sleep. Windows needed screens, bugs came in when the windows were open. There wasn't anywhere to hang towels. Grab n go breakfast was a little stale.
