Front desk people were amazing....

The pastoral view is exactly what I needed to relax. The room was quiet. I loved opening the slider to the outside air. I needed a bath tub and was happy to have a bath after a long 8 hour road trip.
Negatives:
There was limited staff which I'd guess is necessary because it appears there is a reset to the property. I booked through booking.com and as I approached the desk it took awhile to find the reservation I had made and prepaid. The amount I paid for the room was a deal at 119.00 however, the staff indicated I could come to the lobby for a "coffee pot" in my room or I could come to the lobby the next morning for coffee. The restaurant was not open, so, I had to find a place to eat dinner into old town. For this reasons my stay was a value but not a home run. But I'd stay again at the price I paid.

Black mold , staff unconcerned. Staff sat around gossiping, no coffee (ran out) , no cups in the lobby that it should be. No coffee maker in room, you have to request it. Bathroom disgusting.

All the Ladys working the front counter that evening at check in and in the morning were all wonderful.
Negatives:
Old Hotel No place to eat the restaurant is closed. The first room the fridge did not work. The second the picture in the room was broken Glass hanging from it and the rest of the glass was left in front the the room on the floor in a plastic garbage bag. I went and told the staff they were quick to apologize and wanted to move us again. We asked to not be moved again and we were fine with staying away from the picture on the wall. We did not have kids. They did come and pick up the bag of glass but still left a few pieces on the carpet that we picked up. The front hotel staff ladys were all WONDERFUL.. It is just an older hotel but that is what we expected. The bed and room were clean. Very large hotel not many people there so it was nice and quiet.
