The beds were so incredibly high—even in their disabled rooms. I—a medium height woman—had an extremely difficult time climbing onto the bed as the top reached nearly to my waist. My disabled husband got into bed with a lot of help from me early in the night; however, when he got up around midnight, he couldn’t get back in bed & fell onto the floor. As he’s too heavy for me to lift, I called the hotel staff without getting a response. Thus, my husband spent the night on the hard floor. I tried to make a bed with the lightweight comforter but couldn’t move him at all—could only cover him. It was an awful situation for both of us.
