Negatives: Room got downgraded and we were still charged full amount but given a $150 to spend at the hotel - would have much rather had the room we originally booked or at least a reduced price. Also room was not very clean.

Negatives: This hotel is incorrectly listed as 5 star. It is actually a 4-star, which is also confirmed at the reception. Upon arrival, confronted with super loud club music in the lobby with drunk people partying next to the lobby. Impossible to hear the receptionist properly or have a decent check-in. Apparently they don't provide breakfast, except when you order room service. Upon attempting to order breakfast through roomservice at 7 am, I was told that there was nobody on duty in the kitchen. If you want breakfast, you are sent to another location somewhere in town. The room was incredibly noisy and the hotel seemed to be run down quite a bit. The light switches in the room did nothing either.

Positives: Comfy and spacious room in a characterful, stylish building, in a very good downtown location - lots of good places in walking distance and transport a stone's throw away.

Negatives: I made a request for hypoallergenic pillows when booking, but had to request this again after arriving. I was also erroneously charged for valet parking after checking out and had to contact the hotel to rectify this. Both issues were quickly resolved by the hotel.
