Positives:
Hotel is spending a lot of money on refurbishing/improving the facility. The room and building are immaculate. The .room was handicap accessible. Plenty of parking - even for cars pulling trailers, though some walking may be involved to get to your room.
Negatives:
The automatic entrance light switch in the room kept coming on all night. We had to get up and shut it off repeatedly. It needs to be replaced - we recommend an ordinary on/off switch.

Place looked like brand new, beautiful car decoration on the walls very appropriate for Carlisle Car show guests! Automatic front doors welcome you: very pleasant when carrying luggage. Friendly manager and staff, they really do their best to make a stay as pleasant as possible. Proper well equipped big room suitable for a longer stay. Nice breakfast too.
Negatives:
As so often happens the room key card failed before the stay ended. Had however not been near cell phones or anything. Have had this several times at different places this trip, disappointing because it does not seem like something that is unavoidable.

Friendly staff, convenient to highway and restaurants.
Positives:
The property had changed ownership and was completely redone on the inside. Rooms were clean and fresh, all the staff I had encountered was extremely kind and they had a nice limited continental breakfast since it was a weekday. It was also close distance to my daughter's college which was the purpose of the stay.
Negatives:
The property sits off by the highway, so there was noise throughout the stay, but I knew the location ahead of time and expected it.

It was a very nice small hotel for a short stay. It is convenient to many things in the Carlisle area.
Positives:
Staff was friendly. The lobby area and breakfast area were very clean and welcoming, the breakfast was good.
Negatives:
The mattress was like laying on rocks, we could actually feel every lump, and bump in the old mattress. The refrigerator was very noisy, we unplugged it just so we could sleep. The bathroom was not clean at all, especially the shower. Lighting was very bad. It needed a ceiling light in the main part of the room. It only had bed lamps and a desk lamp that were very dim and the bathroom mirror light was flickering so bad, it could cause a person to have an epileptic seizure.
