Holiday Inn Express and Suites Carlisle Harrisburg

Negatives: First room was too loud. Second room required two trips downstairs to get key to open the door.

Negatives: Please read the reviews first!! This hotel was very filthy. The lobby appeared to be clean when we arrived, however once we stepped in the elevator, it was extremely dirty and sticky. The hallway carpet was very dirty and stained, and the lighting down the hallway was so dim. This hotel needs many updates and a deep clean everywhere. The key we were given to the room deactivated every time we left the room. We had to go down to the front desk, multiple times to have the key reactivated to the room, as well as needing to be let in the room by the staff that was cleaning other rooms. The room itself was very dark did not have enough lighting and felt dingy. There were stains everywhere in the room, including the comforter, the shower curtain and floor. The tables had stains from drinks. They were sticky. The refrigerators were old and dirty. The shower was stained and wouldn’t drain properly with stains and the sink was dirty with a brown ring around the drain. I am so shocked that this hotel can carry the name Holiday Inn with the condition that it is run in. I would recommend staying anywhere else but here if you want to stay in a decent hotel. The 4 stars are because we didn’t see any bugs.

Negatives: Chipped walls, hard water deposits on facets, bathroom counter, stained carpet, uncomfortable mattress. Stinky cigar smoke coming in through fan /air conditioner. Had to change rooms, stunk up our whole room

Negatives: The room was spacious and well equipped

Negatives: The appearance is run down. There was pealing paint on the bathroom door. The clock in the room wasn’t working. The carpeting is obviously real old. The paint on the walls in the halls are dark, should be brighter colors. No usb charging ports. Tv should be able to turn so it is visible from a chair and two chairs should be in the room.

Negatives: extremely dirty, scuffed walls, dirty dusty tables in room, not vacuumed.

Negatives: No maid service the second day, beds were not made

Negatives: A lot of maintenance issues

Negatives: It was too close to the Pennsylvania Turnpike so you heard the highway noise out night long. The hallways and carpet needed cleaning or replaced and the halls smelled of cigarettes. I think it was overpriced for what condition it was in.
