The Staff were extremely friendly. The price was very good. The bed was comfortable and the AC was great!

There wasn't enough hot water to get a shower. It got Luke warm about half way through. The rooms are VERY dated but not a big deal if you're not looking for something fancy. Not DIRTY but not extremely clean either like my mirror had not been cleaned

Convenient location, appropriate price. We wanted an early check in and they accommodated us. We were able to park right outside our door.
Negatives:
The room smelled a bit musty, could have been aired out better but we could open the window. The day we arrived we killed ten flies in our room. We had the door open while bringing in suitcases so maybe some got in then but through the evening more kept getting in somehow. The next morning there were two more.

The bathroom was filthy. The towels had holes in them. We were put in a room over where a bunch of workers were staying. The workers were cooking smelly meals outside where we had to walk to get in our room. No phone in room to connect with hotel manager.

The WALLS need cleaned. The beds, furniture and bathroom very clean, walls were terrible due to being a smoking room I guess, I am a smoker also. The drapes need repaired to keep light out and people looking in.

Positives:
Room & bathroom neat & clean. Ice machine near office with plenty of ice. Innkeeper went out of his way to help me locate my room and was attentive & pleasant. Heater/airconditioner, microwave, mini fridge all worked well. Comfortable bed & pillows, plenty of hot water for shower. Next door is a restaurant serving breakfast lunch & dinner and just down the road there is a kwik fill station plus a dairy queen chill&grill. Budget Inn is a good choice for a brief stopover in Clearfield.
Negatives:
Facilities are dated & could use some general upkeep but quite serviceable in a very convenient location with excellent affordability.

The bathroom had what looked like mold around the tiles of the tub and spots on the grout throughout the bathroom. The AC vents were dirty. My son moved a chair and a cockroach ran across the chair.
