When asked at check in about when breakfast was offered, rather than telling me at that time, she told me that she would tell me in a minute (once the payment process was done). I found this a bit odd that she couldn’t just tell me and made me wait to answer a very simple question. Almost as if she had a routine that she couldn’t break. Actually I thought it rude.

The employees were good about working to find a more appropriate room for me. They did not do servicing during the stay, but they were good about providing extras if needed-towels-shampoo, etc. The front desk employee went above and beyond to help find a room that did not smell musty and moldy. He could not change that for the room I was in or the age of the hotel, but he did great for what was in his control! After finding a more appropriate room the stay was much better!

The first room I was in smelled really bad, moldy, musty, I thought it would go away, I was really only there to sleep. But the smell did not go away, I even left the air on and bathroom fan on one entire day while out of the room and it was still so bad. There was also rust around the toilet, peeling paint, toilet paper holder was almost coming out of the wall. Older facilities for certain. The hotel lock of my first room looked like it had been broken and repaired, this made me a bit nervous also, it did feel secure...

You had better enjoy having somebody tell you what temperature you are comfortable at because the temperature in the room does not go up or down regardless of having a thermostat in each room.
