Negatives: The room did not fit description on Booking.com. Reservation was for a Queen suite with King bed and sofa bed. Hotel reception stated they didn’t have such a room. Only King suites have king beds. The staff tried accommodating us best they could but still ended up with Queen bed. Booking.com needs to adjust their description. Plus- room was very small and dated

Negatives: A little Pricey per night

Negatives: There was no deadbolt for main door. And the security flip lock seemed sketchy at best. The room layout was awkward. Very small. The bed was next to the window which faced a wall (no view whatsoever) and the air/heat unit below the window. So when the fan was on, it blew the curtain up over the bed. It was chilly, so we turned the fan off. But in the summer there’s no way you would be able to sleep with the curtain dragging over and above you all night. There was a door in the back of the closet that opened into the bathroom. That “back door” could not be locked. So someone could enter the room from the hall, slip through the closet and into your shower. Not cool. Whole hotel itself is not in a high crime area, the room did not feel secure right along the highway. We had booked a room described as being a king bed w sofa bed. Upon arriving, it was a queen bed, no sofa. I called the front desk and was told the agency I booked through had the wrong room description. When I said I really wanted the king bed, no offer was made to move us to another room for the upcharge. It was just “sorry”, no explanation of availability or anything. Just too bad, so sad. No hot chocolate available at the free coffee/tea station because the truck hadn’t arrived. Yet there was a grocery store across the street that sold hot cocoa packets to mix with hot water just like tea bags. Our room was never serviced during our stay: no trash emptied, nothing fresh towels even when we followed the in room signage and left them on the floor. Not impressed by level of poor customer service.

Negatives: No complaints

Negatives: Breakfast area was small, not a lot of options.

Negatives: Children under 12 should not be permitted to touch EVERYTHING at the breakfast counters. Please, please, PLEASE enforce this to reduce the risk of communical disease from poor hand hygiene, not to mention the incredible amount of food waste incurred by children taking things they will not eat. I won't even get into the number young children running around the dining room and in/out of the doors leading to the courtyard (stepped on a couple of little feet, had a few doors slam in my face) You can't control the children, but you can insist that their parents actually do. This is the only reason I would not stay here again.

Negatives: Hotel is a bit hard to find tugged in behind other hotels in back of shopping mall. Still was a good location for me visiting Presque isle SP.
