First room wasn’t clean. Bed was not cleaned. Bathroom still had urine on floor and toilet and toilet seat. Hair was in sink. I asked for another room and they put me in a smaller room with no living room sofa bed area. The second room bathroom had two leaks coming from upstairs.

TV had bad signal and half the channels didn't come on, the tub was clogged up with some kind of material and didn't drain well, noise in the hallway, breakfast was cold even after fresh eggs were put in dish, had to ask for coffee to be refilled, floor and table tops in room were sticky, patched up walls and were not painted

When I arrived, in front of me, there were customers whose credit card was declined in their effort to extend their stay. There was arguing because they said they had no other place to stay & they had to stay there. The police were called. When I finally got to the desk I told the agent I would pay the penalty if I had to but I was canceling my reservation because I did not feel safe. At first the agent said I was going to have to come back the following day to speak to manager about canceling. But as things began to escalate with the previous customers & the police, “miraculously” the agent said the penalty was I had to pay one night & he would cancel the other 2 nights as it became apparent it was best I leave for as soon as possible for my own safety as things continued to escalate with the previous customers & the police.

Felt unsafe due to previous customers & police escalation of customers dispute that they had to stay a hotel even though credit card declined when they tried to extend their stay.
I did not like that I was penalized to pay one night & initially told I had to come back the next day to cancel the other 2 nights. But as things began to escalate miraculously the agent could cancel my other 2 nights without manager intervention.
