Motel 6-Harrisburg PA - Hershey North

Negatives: there was no pool it was closed for the past 3 years however, the website said there was a pool which is why we booked so the kids could swim. paint peeling off the ceiling, smoke detector not working and dead wires hanging out of air conditioner unit.

Negatives: Our bed was broke, no shampoo,no sheets just an flat sleep to cover the mattress

Negatives: Lack luster service and lack of proper management billed my card before arriving and gave me no choice even though the app said it wouldn’t be billed until arrival the pool is closed and no ice anywhere but first floor and the entire building smells of a musty odor and room was bland and just blah a truly disappointing experience and will never return to this location again

Negatives: Our door was very hard to open and close. There was no microwave in the room. We had to go all the was on the first floor(we were staying on the third floor) if we need anything warmed up. The same for the ice machine. The only one is on the first floor. Even though they are very accommodating when it comes to our pets(pets stay free); the only floor for pets is the third floor.

Negatives: Elevator raised concerns with all the creaks and groans while in operation. Tub was so discolored at the bottom, I wouldn't go near it. There was one tiny bar of soap provided...NOTHING ELSE. Hallway smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. My autistic son and myself are both highly sensitive to scents, especially cigarette smoke. The remote didn't work in our room so I had to dress after settling in for the night to go down to the lobby to get a working remote. Again, the front desk person was very helpful but at $160 for the night, you would expect not to have to be frustrated just trying to put something on the very small television in your room.

Negatives: Literally everything else. I came to check in and this was to be a pay at property, when I arrived they informed me that they cancelled my booking claiming that my payment was declined, I looked on booking they never even tried to charge my card. The hotel still had rooms available so she still got me checked in, I used the same card to pay that I used for the booking. The room was disgusting and dirty. The tv and tv remote didn’t work. The picture looked like I was watching Minecraft, it was super outdated. The remote was broke and barely worked 90% of the channels didn’t work either the picture was static or it just showed a no signal message. The window to the outside looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the day the hotel opened. There were ants on the floor. Most of the floor looked like it was peeling up. Chipped paint everywhere. The AC didn’t seem to work. It would kick on and off within seconds of each other. And the room was so hot. The toilet seat was held on the toilet by a single screw. The light switch walking into the room did not. The lights were all unplugged. There is a 2” gap at the bottom of the door that runs to the hallway because of this at 1am when a group of drunk people came in last night being loud they woke me and my kids up.

Negatives: TV had no remote, bathroom sink didnt drain, bedding and towels were stained. We asked for extra pillows, as the bed pillows were very small and flat, they brought one single pillow for 4 people. They handed my husband a plunger for the sink...a bunch of gunk came out of the drain, so now we have gross black stuff in the sink and it still doesn't drain.

Negatives: That they false advertise about the pool when they should be taking the pool off the facilities advertisement due to not having to pull up in for three years since Covid as well as the AC units in the room because they don’t. they also don’t serve breakfast or have microwaves in the rooms as well.

Negatives: place is a little bit outdated, needs extra cleaning.

Negatives: Whole motel smelled like smoke. Pool hasn't been open in years should be removed from advertising on website. Was really noisy.

Negatives: Was mice everywhere foud mice poop in the sheets along with long hair s all over the sheets

Negatives: Only gave a bar of soap no shampoo or conditioner. Booked 2 queen beds but they definitely weren’t queen more like full size
