1.The location.

1.The heater was loud as a freight train, especially when it fired up. Kept me awake all night. 2.The people next room over were rude, extremely crude and loud until very late. With so many empty rooms, why put them next to me? DON'T COME HERE TO SLEEP!

The only good thing is that it is close to my stepmother and that is why we go to Myerstown.

This place needs to close down for a year and redo the entire interior. The structure is good and attractive but the inside is the pits. Wallpaper peeling, carpet beyond filthy, bathrooms need a major update. Breakfast is a joke,

It had a smell. The rooms were very old and it just was not the cleanest.

Room kept in a very bad condition. There was dust all over the place. The chair was is a very bad shape. There were animal hair on the duvet.

Need to replace the shower curtain ASAP, before it kills someone with the odor coming from it, carpet very very very unclean, needs replacing or a good cleaning, other than that not a bad place to stay.

All of the staff at the hotel and restaurant were very friendly.

It is sad to say that this once quaint property was not well maintained and the room was not as clean as one would expect. The bathroom was not properly stocked.

The courtyard was beautiful and the staff are top notch

Room was old and outdated. Bathroom was falling apart and the walls were patchy. The ceiling had rust all over it in the bathroom.

Spending $--- for this hotel was absurd this is like a $45 night place. There's no major attractions or anything nearby small college at best. The rooms were very dated wallpaper was peeling punched doors carpet was chewed up. Absolutely no value here

It was a good location for us. The room wasnt awful but definitely not what I would consider a 2 1/2 star hotel.
Negatives:
It was very dated. Definitely in need of some updates. There was facia and gutter missing. Lots of broken shingles in the parking lot. The hallways smelled like smoke. The dining room floor was dirty. The breakfast area was dingy. Everything was dusty!
